Timeline

1981
Born in Aurora, Illinois on October 02, 1981. Entering a family where James & Norma already gave birth to three girls!  Which were officially K.F.'s three older sisters! He had no idea what the world had in store for him (spoiled).

Throughout His Youth-
K.F. traveled occassionaly with his paternal Grandparents. Spent summers vacationing in the south with his siblings and explored several adventures on family vacations, such as; Disney World, Chicago's famous Field, Planitarium, & Aquarium Museums, Professional Basketball Games and much more!

1986-1997
Attended school in Aurora, Illinois. In both the East and West side school districts.

While in School-
K.F. was chosen to play on several recreational basketball and baseball teams.  He furthered his enjoyment for the sports and played in Junior High and on a High School team!

1997- 2004
With no mortal fear. James entered into the Illinois Department of Corrections.  This incarceration would be the backdrop that GOD would use to touch K.F.'s spirit, to prepare him for eternal life.  Openly and without regulation or standard procedure, James embraced Jesus Christ and had an independent, fulfilling relationship with GOD.  The cross he requested while incarcerated and wearing upon his arrival "home", would confirm that he made time to devote his spirit, on his terms, to GOD.  IDOC did not prepare us for his homecoming, yet it gave him the isolation to prepare him for an eternal homegoing.

Homecoming 2004

James was released and promptly picked up and out of IDOC on May 28th, 2004.  With looks that turned the heads of many women and envious men, K.F. was certainly a man.  He had hair longer than most of his sisters and a body that was lacking any fat content.  However, it was his spirit that would leave us pleased.  He insisted he be photographed everyday, for 12 days.  As if he knew in his heart without disclosing this to his family, that he would be departing soon...

Homegoing 2004

In the "world" only 12 1/2 days. On his 13th day home, the Aurora Police Department announced the horrific news of his murder.  His body was harmed, yet his spirit was immediately taken into GOD's embrace.  As if to remind each and every one of us, that we are born to die.  The body is only a chamber for the spirit.  And James possessed a calm and endearing spirit. He was known for his humble demeanor and calm tongue.  He spoke intelligently when he was angry and was not habitually impressed by wordly things.  He deeply loved his family and would only expect for them to give him the opportunity to give us a homecoming celebration- when we meet him again!!!!!!
